Presentation of GIS of waste management at the event "Khmelnych region is going clean"

On June 17, 2021, the first part of the two-day event "Khmelnytskyi is going clean" was held at the initiative of the Head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Council Violeta Labaziuk for the exchange of experience, development and implementation of regional waste management projects.

The presentation was attended by more than 100 participants from various territorial communities of Khmelnytskyi region.

The company MagneticVan Municipal Technologies also took part in this event.

Volodymyr Podobivskyi, CEO of the Company, in his report focused on the instrumental problem of visualizing data on territorial communities.

In particular, the implemented products of the Company were presented, including the Geoportal of the urban planning cadastre of the Khmelnytskyi region and solutions for waste management - a geo-information system for solid household waste management. Volodymyr Podobivskyi paid special attention in this block of the report to how, using modern geo-information technologies, it is possible to build an application for marking landfills, garbage collection sites and the entire infrastructure responsible for the rational use of waste.
